Current Projects
Race Peace
Race Peace is is a project of Mondo Bizarro and M.U.G.A.B.E.E. (Men Under Guidance Acting Before Early Extinction), under the mentorship of Junebug Productions and Roadside Theater, which blends multi-disciplinary performance techniques with a town-hall style meeting to incite conversations about the specific instances where racial stereotypes are fashioned. Race Peace seeks to explode the possibilities of art making as a tool for civic transformation by providing an opportunity for people to experiment, celebrate and explore common bonds, debate their differences, and lay the civic foundation to pursue solutions to their problems.
I Witness Central City
I-Witness Central City is a StoryMapping project that aids local residents in reclaiming their history and neighborhoods through sharing personal, place-based stories accessible online, via a cell-phone walking tour and through community festivals.
Loup Garou
Loup Garou is a new performance collaboration with our dear friends from ArtSpot Productions. This work is an investigation of the relationship between Louisiana’s deeply rooted cultural traditions and our vanishing coastal region, as told from the perspective of the Loup Garou (Cajun Werewolf).
